Welcome from OHIO! Just a little south of you. I agree with the supply lists others have recommended. There are some great beginning quilts on you tube, so just spend some time watching videos at home and if you have questions, just ask. The quilters on this board are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Check. Your local library I teach for free at our library and I let students use my stuff before they go buy all that stuff it is not cheap Also other students are so generous with their surplus we all share it is the best
