Hi There,

I am REALLY new to quilting. I have only finished one project and had some help with it. I have a quilt that is 3/4 done that I am hand quilting. I have 2 borders on it and have quilted a nice design on the fist border but I am stuck on the second border. Is there somewhere online wher I could find border designs?

Are you looking for a design to make a pieced border or are you just wanting to know how to add another border?

For the first border around the 6 blocks I made, I "traced" a celtic type design onto it, then stitched it with seem colored thread as the material. Not even sure if this is the "proper" way to finish a quilt but I like the way it looks! I got my husband to desing the first one. But I would like to surprise him with the finished quilt (it's been in the works for over 4 years, YIKES). I have promised it to him after all!
