Hi all! I just joined this great community. I have been a sewer/crafter for over 30 years now -- made my first sewing project in 4-H at the age of 10 and fell in love with fabric then. I love to craft in many types of mediums (embroidery, crochet, painting, polymer clay, paper crafts, florals) but fabric and sewing is my first love. Just recently I fell hard for the quilting bug. I have made a few quilts, the most recent being a wedding gift for my son.
I have been married to the most wonderful man for the past 29 1/2 years, have three grown sons, two married to great women, and the third living with a steady girl. We are excitedly expecting 2 grand-babies this spring/summer to add to our family.
I find my inspiration for many of my crafts from the area I live, which is a small farm in the middle of Missouri. We raise chickens and sometimes beef cattle, have a 13 year old mixed lab dog and an rambunctious 2yr old Alaskan Malamute, 2 lazy cats, various fish and lots of wildlife.
I look forward to learning, sharing and laughing with everyone here.
