welcome, do you live close to a fabric store? They do classes for newbies, better still a friend or nieghbor that quilts to help you learn. Wish I lived near you. I love to teach .

I am a self taught quilter--Started out with no knowledge of Quilting at all. I read books -looked at videos got tips front internet. I really wanted to make quilts---I expermented a lot and learned a lot. Be patient and take your time. Dont be afraid to try different things. I started out with cheaper materials before I used my gtood STUFF. I made a lot of goofs but I got better as time went by. Good Luck in your new adventure
