Hello and a warm welcome from southeastern West Virginia. Yes....it sounds like you've been converted all right. You'll love this site, Beth...I like Sneed's too!

Hi Stephanie!
I learned to crochet via book but the quilting wasn't making sense. I had to see some things in action. Maybe we will meet sometime. Have you been to Phyllis' quilt shop in Hurricane yet? I see she has classes also.

:) I fill in for a lady on occasion. My Midnight is a rescue from a parking lot that a lady spent 3 months feeding and talking to. The first time she was ever touched was to put her in a carrier. She is an awesome housecat and spoiled rotten now, and the only one of my three allowed in the sewing room. Haha The half grown babies of one colony I am helping feed will do great. They're working on catching them all to take to a local sanctuary.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for the warm welcome!!

We have people from all over, huh? I love this. I'm sure I'll have questions and will be on here asking. Lol
*wave* over to Joyce, too, in Roane county. I love that there are quite a few WV quilters on the board.
Those of you that mentioned our beautiful state, thank you so much! I'm fortunate enough to live right where I want to, close enough to our capital city for convenience and far enough out that frogs and crickets are a nighttime standard. Oh, and stars. Not like you ladies in Texas have though (wow, is the Texas sky gorgeous).
Our power is out tonight after lots of rain, so maybe I'll finish a table runner tomorrow! Wish me luck. It will be my first finished quilted piece.
Thanks again, everyone! Nice meeting all of you!

Beth :D
