I learned to crochet via book but the quilting wasn't making sense. I had to see some things in action. Maybe we will meet sometime. Have you been to Phyllis' quilt shop in Hurricane yet? I see she has classes also.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for the warm welcome!!
We have people from all over, huh? I love this. I'm sure I'll have questions and will be on here asking. Lol
*wave* over to Joyce, too, in Roane county. I love that there are quite a few WV quilters on the board.
Those of you that mentioned our beautiful state, thank you so much! I'm fortunate enough to live right where I want to, close enough to our capital city for convenience and far enough out that frogs and crickets are a nighttime standard. Oh, and stars. Not like you ladies in Texas have though (wow, is the Texas sky gorgeous).
Our power is out tonight after lots of rain, so maybe I'll finish a table runner tomorrow! Wish me luck. It will be my first finished quilted piece.
Thanks again, everyone! Nice meeting all of you!
