I applaud you. Talk to a Occupational therpist, an OT can help you get some adaption equipment to make it easier to quilt, they can work with you and show you how to use the items.

an O T who is also a quilter would be ideal-----big stitch hand quilting would be easily adapted with the use of stands and clamps---your major difficulty may be 1] expectimg too much too soon 2]being reluctant to ask for help ie hooping + set up--------grit you teeth and just go for enjoyment--i wish you joy
