I'm new to quilting, but have been sewing since I was six or so. I currently drive a Singer 237, or occasionally a Domestic treadle. I've never made a quilt before, but I'm currently collecting fabric for an axehead, and have a crazy quilt top in need of some help.

I'm looking forward to learning more about quilting, and hopefully won't drive myself nuts over the first few projects!

Nice pun. :-D I know it is, but I've loved the pattern ever since I saw one, and it's the one that's gotten me into quilting. I figure, if I survive this, I'll be good to go for just about anything!

It's a perfect hand-piecing pattern.
Trickier by machine, but you're a sewer, so maybe not.
