I've been stalking all of you here for quite some time. Thank you all for letting me stalk, LOL.

I've been trying to find my quilting/crafting fingers for quite some time. I'm still using training wheels on my sewing machine, LOL.

I learned to sew from my momma when I was just a little girl, but I forgot most of what she taught me. She's gone now, 4 years today, and I'm trying to relearn all that I've forgotten. I miss that voice in my ear guiding me with gruffs of impatience and love.

Yes, it doesn't matter how many years have passed, it still seems like yesterday, doesn't it?

Hello and welcome from Mena Arkansas. What part of Arkansas are you from? I am relatively new to the board and a novice quilter. Although, I have been sewing for over 40 years I am sure there are things that I still need to know or learn. I have met a wonderful lady also from my area through the Quilting Board. She teaches machine quilting at our local community college. If you are in our area let me know and we can get together for a nice chat. Jeanniebelle
