Hello all:
I received an email from Loretta and decided to intoduce myself to you all. I have been receiving newsletters for over 4 years but did not join the forum until last fall (well spring for me, LOL). So here is a brief intro from me. I am a New York girl transplanted to Argentina. My husband of 15 years is an Argentine and we retired here. My sister taught me to quilt in 2006 and before that I did not know how to sew. My first project was matching PJ's for my 3 grandsons and then I made a queen sized memory quilt for my son and daughter-in-law. I have been quilting ever since. I love the forum. All the girls are so helpful and have so much knowledge that they are all willing to share. It is impossible to get any 100% cotton printed material here. They just don't sell it. So I order from the internet or send to my sister and she mails it to me. When I visit NY to see my family I usually forward material to my son and take it back with me. Look forward to many more years with you all on the forum. Sincerely, Penny |
