Hello.
I'm new to quilting or sewing in fact. My interest stems from my enthusiasm in recycling anything and everything. I've made a couple of quilts a denim rag quilt and one made from corduroy and denim with leather applique patches. Sort of works I think. I'm doing a basic sewing course a the mo, and I'm embarking on the world of crazy quilting. I love it and think I may have found my niche although (and the reason I'm here) I don't know what to do with my crazy quilt blocks once they're made. I have been racking my brains to think of a 'green' recycled way of finishing it off. But as you can tell I truly don't know what I'm doing. Looks like a great site. I'm off to explore and see if I can find any answers and inspiration. Look forward to virtually meeting you. Parlyparty xx |

I don't have any ideas about "green" recycled way of finishing off a quilt, unless you use something second hand, but hallo from Western Australia. Good luck with your quest.
