I have visiting and enjoying all the inspriration from this board. I have only done paper piecing and love it - but I have a fear of borders and actually quilting and finishing anything.

Paper piecing--now, that is impressive. If you can do paper priecing, you're going to find alot of the other techniques downright easy. (I haven't worked up enough never to try the paper piecing....yet)
Welcome!

Welcome to the board!

Can I pick your brain about paper piecing? I haven't had the nerve to try it yet, as it's not connecting with my brain as how to do it.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Regarding paper piecing - I thought that I was cheating because all I had to do was following the lines. I have not tried piecing with out the crutch of having the paper.

Welcome from California! I'm sure you're not the only one who has just quilt tops! Perhaps you will be inspired by other's work, experience and advice to take the next step!

PS. You don't HAVE to have borders. We're quite proud of the fact that the quilt police are not allowed here.
