I like English paper piecing for take along or non-sewing machine work. The other hand one that comes to mind is traditional Cathedral Windows. Diana |
Hi Katie!
One bedroom apartments do have living rooms and dining rooms! Clear a corner and start a project! It's the best therapy! You'll be happy to get back into it! Good luck! Welcome from Minnesota! |
HI Katie...welcome from Kentucky...one of the things my wife and I look forward to is our quild meetings...twice a month for 3 hours each time..its like an oasis in the middle of life's desert. Hopefully you could also find a quild or club in your area...a nice few hours of time just for you and close the door on all the problems that have nothing to do with quilting or pure fun, just for you. After having 4 grandsons all day and working on our quilting business at nights..we love the hours we share with others at our group...Good Luck and Hope all gets better for you soon

Life comes in phases and stages. Right now, you are in a different phase. Just hang on, and when the emotional dust from your divorce and new life settles, the creativity and the urge will come back.

Hi Katie and welcome from NE Ohio.

I was in the same boat as you at one time, except my 16 yr. old doggie had just passed away...double whammy!!! Still, to this day, I miss my doggie more than the ex...and now I have a "new" husband(okay, relatively new...we've been married for 12 yrs.) and an adorable 2 yr. old puppy...things will get better...Naomi
