Everything takes time. Do what you enjoy. Life is short. Your place may be small but there's always room for a sewing machine. My puppy sits all over my quilts when I'm working on them. Even when they're pinned. He doesn't care. Its the only floor spot available. Welcome from South Carolina.

Puppies like quilts. Tell your puppy you will make him one and he can help. Welcome from Texas.

Hello and welcome from Perth, Western Australia. Quilting and looking at quilts is the best therapy for anything! Where there's a will there's a way. One great thing about living on your own is that it is totally your space, no matter how small. So if you want to quilt....quilt. It doesn't matter if you take over a part of the dining or living area...your place to do as you wish. Hope you get quilting soon. Look forward to seeing some of your work.

Katie, why not start a small hand applique project. I love doing Sunbonnet Sues. Or a grandmothers flower garden. You can take them with you while you wait at the Dr appts or on your lunch hour at work. Even if you only sew for 10 or 15 mins a day you will get alot done before you know it!! Good Luck & Happy Stitchin' crafty_linda_b
