Hi Mike and Welcome A board from the AZ desert. No need to feel strange about being a guy quilter we have lots of guys on here and you make some of the most beautiful quilts I've even seen. Can't wait to see your work posted. We're a friendly bunch on here and love to share our triumphs and follies and love to help each other out of a dilemma when needed.

Welcome Mike! You will feel right at home here. There are a number of guys here, with some serious quilting talent. My
favorite two guy quilters: Ricky Tims (my personal hero) and Raymond K. Houston. Ricky does some phenomenal designs, and Raymond works magic with tesselations. Please post pics for us!!!

welcome mike we have some more guy quilters on here and they do amazing work. my hubby even made a quilt and it was great i dont think hes abandoning his computer for my sewing room but hes a whiz at helping me sometimes and hes always had a better eye for color than me i love to take him fabric shopping. i went to a going pout of business sale one and before long he was helping several ladies pick out fabric. i must admit hes better at reading instructions sometimes than i am lol. the people on here are great youll love it if you can figure out the new board.
