Well, I've been "lurking" for quite a while and wanted to know if I can come play! You are all so talented -LOVE looking at all the goodies. I've been pretending to quilt for about 10 years - love to start things, not so good at the finishing part!

I'm not too far from Lake Robinson! I live very near Blue Ridge HS. I'm so blessed to be in this area - a little heaven on earth! It's so interesting to see where everyone is from and how the distance doesn't seem to matter in this little onlinel world!

LOL! My DH is the best - never suggests I might want to finish something before I'm starting anything else! But, I think you might be right about this board though - I think I'd love to get something done and put up a pic to share!

Have you visited Judy's Sewing on Lee Rd, Taylors? Judy is a jewel of a person. I go by her shop everytime I am near G'ville. Ray's in Spartanburg is another great shop. |

Hi Cindy, welcome to the board. I lived in Greer for 3 1/2 years. My husband is a Minister and we pastored there. I loved it. We moved to York,SC and 6 week ago we retired and moved to Gray Court. By the way there is a great Quilters Guild there in Greer. I drove 1 1/2 hr. each month to attend. Great bunch of ladies. If you aren't a member of one you need to try us out. I am only 35 minutes from Greer now so I still attend.
