I am a retired shoe stitcher/postal worker with 9 grandkids and 6 great grand and another on the way. I am grammy/nanny to the 9th grandchild. I enjoy sewing when I have a little spare time. I am looking for easy quilt patterns.

Hello, I am in Augusta but was born in Bath and summered in Georgetown.

Where in Maine did you come from Fran?

I was born in Lewiston and lived there until mid teens. Then my parents moved me to FL. Still summered back in Maine though until I got married. We had a summer home in Harpswell. I love Maine and I especially love the coast. So I am happy to be living on the coast again here in AK. I have an old friend in Augusta--she used to teach school there--retired now.

Thanks to all for the "Hello" shout. Love all the work you all do. My mom was a quilter. Wish I coud do as well as she did. Hers was all by hand but I cheat and use the machine.
