Welcome from El Paso Tx! We all face the same challenge of cleaning and organizing our sewing areas. My room looks like a tornado went thru it everythime I make a quilt!

Oh you really have my sympathy! I just went through this. Needed to get the floor re-done in my sewing room so I stripped everything out to the bare walls, cleaned out all the drawers, cupboards and shelves and then put things back into place. I wound up purging a lot of things I'd not used in years and years, gave away some things, donated some older fabrics to our local Boys and Girls Club. It was a mess, and an amazing amount of work but I am so pleased with the result. I'm sure you will be as well. Hang in there. The results are worth it. :thumbup:

I know I will very pleased with myself when I finish. What I need to be doing are 2 quilts for our Humane Society to sell to help raise money to operate on and a quilt from shirts of my best friend's husband who died. I'm sure I will get it worked out but sometimes I have a tendency to overwhelm myself with projects that are very important to me but interfere with other things that need my attention. Thanks for the encouragement. It's always appreciated.

According to my sweet husband I have a sewing house. I am trying to seperate the sewing things from the less important things, like stoves, refrigerators, dishes, mops, etc.;
