Thankyou for the URR info. Underground Railroad...that must be the quilt blocks that were allegedly used to direct slaves who were seeking freedom. I've read that quilts hanging on a line with arrow patterns told the freedom seekers which way to go. Bear Paw quilts indicated they needed to watch out for "bear" ...bear were the bounty hunters rounding up the freedom seekers. Lots of stories but I've read these stories could be but probably are NOT factual???

Hi Tami, Welcome from Oklahoma. I was just out your way on vacation last week. It's beautiful there. I'm working on placemats, 2 Halloween quilts, and a Christmas quilt. I keep busy. You will enjoy it here.
