I want to thank all of you for making me feel so welcomed. I live in Tucson. The weather here is usually sunny with a few weeks of rain usually in the late summer. I have completed 2 quilt tops and about to work on the third. I am learning how to put the layers all together. One person is teaching me to use the sewing machine method to stitch them together. Then another person is teaching me to tie it off. Each quilt takes on its own personality and thats what makes it so much fun for me. I am hoping to have 4 quilts done by Christmas. 2 are full sized and 2 are twin. So far all my quilts are made of squares. Nothing fancy yet. (lol) My aunt tells me it cant be done but I say I accept the challenge. What are you all working on these days. I would love to hear from you. Till next time. Tami

I'm working on a grandmother's flower garden right now....or I should say I have a partially complete one I've been looking at the past couple of months. I expect to get back in the groove as soon as the latest sports season passes and plan to complete the top by New Years. Boston1954 has a challenge going on right now to complete quilts and for us to encourage each other along in the process. This is a great group and you certainly are a welcome addition.

I'm working on a Triple Irish Crown which will be quilted as you go. The blocks are done, 4 blocks are basted together only 21 more blocks to go. Also working on disappearing nine patch and a snowball quilt that I finished the top for about 5 years ago, thought I finished it-wrong. It will be tied.

Welcome, Miss Tami: When you find out what a URR is then I'll also be enlightened as I don't know. Someone has already asked you to post a picture of what you are making. We all get inspired and motivated by seeing what other's are making. We'd like to see what you are doing. I'm the "Queen" of WIP's (Works In Progress). I have a dozen or more things going that I'm working on right now. I can't stand seeing a pattern that I've never made and NOT stopping and making it! I've never been diagnosed with Attention Deficit but where quilting is concerned, I'm pretty sure I am! Welcome. You'll learn lots here.
