Wow, Mustangquilts! You must have an even more difficult time of finding a quilt shop than I do! Are you near Clayton?

Yes we are 14 miles up river from Clayton. I do not have a hard time finding a quilt shop as my sewing room is a quilt shop  . Anyway that is what DH calls it. We get to the big cities about once every 6 months so I have lots of supplies stocked up. Going through Ketchum towards Twin Falls I have seen a couple of quilt shops in your area. What are they like. I have been toying with the idea of seeing if your area is interested domestic machine quilting classes. Have a great weekend and maybe I will see you at Mountain Mommas quilt show in Sept. Lori

Good morning. Welcome to your new home. We all buy more fabric than we can use and then, when the right time comes we make something. Once here, you will remain, even if it is just reading. One can learn a lot here. Have a great day.

Welcome from Georgia. Do you have a quilt guild near you? If so, I would suggest that you try them out. Getting into a small group (6 or 8) members is just about right. You have to be dedicated to attending in order to learn more and get motivated. You will find lots of help on this web site. I have download dozens of quilt pictures and patterns and working on one right now. You will be surprised how many new friends you will make through a guild, or small group. I'm still learning and I've been quilting since 1989. Good luck. GiGi
