I would be a little wary of that piece of old tape that's across it.

i think the tape was put there to mark the seam allowance.

if you just go a good cleaning on the machine you'll get the sticky residue off.

Did you see the orange one, not for me!! I would not buy the one with the masking tape on it either.

People who are proud of their offerings give lots of info & pictures. those who don't-??? note there is no bobbin case--$50. that tape may never come off without ruining what is left of the finish. who knows what else lurks ? I have been stung enough on machines to be vary wary.

You can get tape off with peanut butter or goo gone, neither will harm the finish. Bobbin cases are obtainable.
