    Why can't you thread it?
You can learn to thread it. Take it to a shop and get the repair person to teach you the tricks tht make it easy. froggyintexas

I have a White never been used, tried it once, did not like it. I have honestly been thinking of selling it just have not gotten around to it. I guess I like the more simple stuff.

I have the Babylock Imagine, and love it so far. Haven't used it much, and know that it will do way more than I have used it for. Just need to start practicing. I bought mine new from a Vacuum and Sewing center and it came with free lessons and a full 10 year warranty. I paid over $1,000 less than the area Babylock dealer wanted.

Super easy to thread, mine works perfectly every time. I can change out one thread without rethreading all.
I also have a Baby Lock. So easy to thread.
After I am finished with my quilt I serge. For me
It is then easy to bind. And by turning a nob you can
    do rolled edges.

I had a White Speedylock and loved it. Now I just bought a basic Viking H Class 200S where the entire front opens up for easy threading. So far very happy with it. I use it for more than clothes, I do pillowcases and everything. I've even seen quilts made with a serger. Just finished some fine scarves (got the fabric for free) with a fine edge and they came out great. Once you get used to using a serger, it really is very versatile.

I have a Janome but don't use it much. I would say the main thing is to be sure you get a 4 thread one.

hello, i have had a serger since 1988 and don't know how the heck i did any sewing before I had it as I used to make all my kids clothes.....it was a pfaff. then it died,,,,,,so I called All
Brands, they are the company I always order from and asked if she was to buy a serger whichone would she buy. i wanted one that did a great and beautiful rolled hem. I had looked at Bernina, I have 3 sewing machines by them, and she told me that the Juki is the best in her eyes. so I did get one and I love it.....real easy to use....once you have it threaded it is a piece of cake to use.....threading isn't that hard either. I found that I can't see why anyone would want one with more than 4 threads. any more is a waste of money......good luck. kaye In Montana

I have the Babylock Image and love it. I don't use it for quilting but great for curtains, pillows, fleece jackets.
