Cute! Great way to get rid of scraps. How about a fancy stitch around each of those squares/retangles.

Here's a version of the ticker tape quilt, which was the last sewing project my MIL made before she passed. At the time her health was very poor and she struggled to finish it. I apologize for the poor photo quality.

I HAVE made 2 of these and they are sooo cute. Have to be sure to go back and fwd to tie off your stitching good with machine....and you do not snip it....the cotton does the fraying. My grand daughter LOVES this little quilt and findes all sorts of things in the fabrics.....great fun and well worth the work. J

I want to try it someday. If you used basting spray on all the layers, you could quilt as you go and just bind.

I have actually made 3 of them(the only 3 doll quilts I have made) because they are so easy and fun to make. You definitely have to make one. I might have to try a bed size if I get a walking foot.
