Default Apliquick Tools on The Quilt Show

Here's a fantastic demonstration of Apliquick Tools on a Quilt Show presentation. If you scroll down slightly on the page you will see it's a free show to watch (#1912) with the lady that invented the tools (Rosa Rojas). I don't do turned applique but think these tools would be invaluable to someone who does a lot of turn applique. They are very pricey, but looks like they would be so much better than using your hands. Has anyone used these & if so, what is your opinion of them?

I have a set and use them quite often. There’s a little learning curve until you master your dexterity but they are worth the money. I did not buy her scissors because I have various sizes of Karen Buckley scissors. I started using the appliquick tools last year when I made a Mommy & Me quilt for my DIL’s baby shower last fall. I watched her use them in person at Paducah. The scissors are fantastic. I have all her scissor types. I don't do much hand applique but the tools have come in handy and I'm glad I have them. The glue is the best fabric temp glue I have used. In fact all her products are high quality and do a great job. I demoed the tools at my guild and they know I'm not an applique person. My circles and needle turned pieces were perfect using the tools. A few turned up their noses at the price but most saw the value immediately.

This is really impressive. I don't applique as much as I used to, but if I did, I think that I would want to take the plundge and get a set. The glue is most impressive, too. I wonder where you can get just that?

The glue sticks (not the pen) are very hard to find. I bought two of the Apliquick glue sticks at Paducah last April and so far I am still using the first one I opened. It only takes a touch to hold the fabric instantly. The Appliquick website has all products but is not in US. https://apliquick.com/producto/fabri...units/?lang=en
