Default Christmas ornament quilt

I love this board, but it costs me money, a lot of money. I see so many beautiful things and I want to make them too.

So the latest thing is a Christmas ornament quilt by Kate Spain; Felicity. I found the pattern and purchased a pdf copy on line. No gold fabric in my stash, so off to the fabric store. I'm not sure if you can see the wonderful gold sparkly fabric I found. This is the hangers holding the ornaments. There are pictures on Pinterest of it, but they say copyright, so I'll just let every one go look. The background fabric will be a 108 inch backing that just spoke to me. I'm supposed to be a member of the fabric moratorium, but I've fallen off the wagon.

Apparently there is more than one quilt pattern named Felicity.

When you fall off the wagon you really fall. However, moratorium is in hiatus until the first of january. By the way that fabric is gorgeous. And I love that pattern.

Falling off the wagon isn't so bad if you only do it once in a while....with me it's an almost weekly occurrence. I do like the pattern you have chosen as it makes a totally different Christmas quilt beside Santa, Reindeer's, and Christmas trees. Be sure to post when you have the top completed please.

I think I have this in a kit. I've managed to sell myself on the idea that if my fabric collection is all in kits, it's not technically a "stash." Good one, huh?

Ooo that's so pretty! I'm all bruised up from falling off so much!
And you're so right about this board. I find all kinds of things I have to have that I wouldn't know existed!
Can't wait to see it.

My best quilting buddy does not have a stash! No way, she has a “Fabric Collection”. Love that pattern! I don’t have a moritorium. The only way I don’t buy fabric is to stay home and not go to a fabric store! Prices are on the rise again!
