After a year of trying to get the curves on a pieced double wedding ring to match up, I invested in this tool. Got the rest of the top done within a month! Some like it and some don't. For me, it got the project done and the frustration of pinning or basting was gone! My attachment came with attachments, so I can use it on just about any machine. However, I steer way clear of any curved seams these days. Straight and narrow for me! :-)

I seen this at a quilt show and wished i had bought it because I am not this best piecer and want to make a scrappy apple core quilt .

Couldn't you use a 1/4" seam foot to do the same thing?
