I heard you can buy them at Joan's with your coupon, will see if I can find one, I just talked to my friend and she bought one at her LQS and loves it!

We all need them now!

Ditto to that! Money very well spent!
Absolutely. If you are buying it for a sewing machine in this day and age, none of them should be magnetic as almost all new machines are computerized. Check just to be sure. They have gone down in cost, but wise investment.

Yes I have two but mine are different than all of those's and I did not pay anything like the prices they had. I have a pink and a blue one. I don't remember where I got them but will try to find out and let you know and will take picture later.

Had one of the bendable-type lights for while but it was battery powered. It eat batteries like you wouldn't believe. I didn't know about the electric one but I found a gooseneck lamp at Walmart and added one of the new corkscrew florscent lightbulbs, and its so bright. I like it that I can position the light but the best place is off to the left side of the machine, it lights up the sewing area and the needle so threading the eye is so much easier. Because they were cheap enough, I bought two and have one by each machine. And because the lightbulb is energy efficient, I'm not concerned about the hours its on.

I bought one on the advise of the Quilting Board members and I LOVE it. It's probably my best "notion." The best price I found was at Quilter's Warehouse.

Make sure you buy the true Bendable Bright Light brand. The others are just not as good.

Will do Dee, that's what I was wondering. Kind of like the Ott lights. The others don't compare in my book.
