    This looks like a great stitch to use on my smaller projects like placemats. Wonder if I can effectrively use it on my longarm? Hummm....the possibilities.

    Thanks for the link ... I went and looked at my Janome 6600 and I have it too ... stitch #26 I had to adjust the tension just a tad. I think the tricky part is getting it to match when placing them side by side.

    Although I just finished a quilt with this stitch I remembered I had posted one last year that used it. I haven't photographed the most recent one yet, but here is the first one I did. The second photo shows the quilting the best.

    I have used it but found it unforgiving. It changed shape when I hit speed bumps!

    Great look when it works though.
