Default Which EQ7 books do you recommend (or not)?

I didn't upgrade to EQ8 because I decided I really need to master what I already have -- EQ7 -- first! I found the free Youtube class by Kari Schell very helpful for getting started:
https://www.onpointquilter.com/blog/...-quilt-newbies

Now I have found some Youtube tutorials that are also very helpful. Apparently I learn best by means of videos!

The EQ website has a lot of EQ7 materials available now for sale at a reduced price (because EQ8 is out, of course), plus you get to take 25% off for their Black Friday special. This makes the books very tempting even though they are black-and-white written instructions. Here are the books I am considering getting:
EQ with Me: Pieced Drawing
EQ with Me: Applique Drawing
EQ with Me: Quilt Design
Digital Essentials
Judy Martin Star Power
Blending Photos with Fabric 2

I am just afraid of overbuying, especially since I don't have an *immediate* need for any of these.

Any recommendations for or against?

p.s. EQ7 Jump Start is the Youtube series I have started.

I didnt upgrade for the same reason. I just got the Quilt Design book and really like it. Lots of good 'how to' information that I've not seen on the free videos.

I have the EQ Pieced Drawing and Quilt Design and think both were well worth the $$. I upgraded and was glad to see that while the books screen shots are not good for EQ8, the wording is ok. I use both these for basic reference books--very helpful.

I'm in the same leaky canoe with you two. I've not used EQ7 to the point where I feel it was a good buy. I have a lot of other "quilting tools" laying around here collecting dust.
