Finishing a GFG quilt

Great instructions!! I have a lovely customer who has made a lot of hexie quilts. This is how she finishes them. She has me quilt all the way off the edge, then she puts the "border binding "on.

Thank you so much! I've been piecing a GFG with 1930's reproduction fabric since 2009. I've been wondering how to finish it and this is so pretty.
