You have to take a look at the Aby Dolinger BOM! 12 and 20 block options! dpendleton started a thread about this particular BOM a couple days ago. https://abyquilts.wordpress.com/optimism-2025-bom/

I'm intrigued with the Happy Hour Stitches 2025 BOM. (link above)
Before I commit, does anyone have any experiences with their BOMs?
Feedback, please ... Good, Bad or Otherwise!!
THANKS!

I love this time of year when all the new projects are being posted for the coming year!
For New Year's Day there are several mysteries planned.
New Year's Day MYSTERY Quilt! | MerryMayhem.com
New Years Day Quilt Mystery Fabric Selection ? Scrapdash
mqathroughthelookingglass – Mystery Quilts Anonymous
New Years 2025 Cutting Charts – Mystery Quilts Anonymous
Through the Looking Glass Missing Page! – Mystery Quilts Anonymous
5th Annual New year's Sew In – Stitchin Heaven
Bing Videos - this video goes with Stitchin Heaven
Grid Girls Facebook group has a New Year's mystery planned and has released the fabric requirements. The first clue will be posted 1/7. The instructions will make a quilt 88"x88" but in clue 8 - the last clue - she will give instructions to make two QOV quilts so watch the fabric requirements if you're interested in that.
(20+) Grids Girls | Facebook
Cuts and Bolts is doing a New Year's Eve mystery. Because it has 10 steps they've already released half of them with the others set to go on New Year's Eve. There are pictures posted of the clues some quilters have already finished.

I don't have time to work on any of them now but I'm saving the instructions. I'm most interested in Merry Mayhem and ScrapDash.

Go for it! What's not to love? Work at your own pace. Learn new techniques. Something new all the time. If you have no time, you can wait until later. I love BOMs. Originally Posted by QuiltE

My perspective may be skewed because of the kind of piecer that I am... I never finish BOMs because I run off to the next project; generally due to lack of time to stay on task. But that is not a problem for me. I love the variety. I love the fabric selection process. UFOs do not bother me.
If the pace of BOMs is going to drive you batty, you may want to wait until it is over so you can knock it out at one time. Or do a bunch of BOMs at the same time.

Thanks Ibex ... I'm much like you and find it better to wait til I have at least a few of the months to do together. One by One, just does not work for me. I'm thinking of using their framework/setting and inserting blocks from another BOM. Believe it or not, I actually did keep up with the monthly work. Then fizzled for the completion. I just wasn't sold on their layout and left them behind. Need to dig them out and see how they would work in this.Originally Posted by ibex94
