just received another message from Bonnie. I asked her about my colours I used and showed her a photo. I told her about a focal fabric I had in mine that had a little print to it. She came back to tell me that we will be doing all the scrappy units first before working with the focal fabrics. So we have lots of time yet to determine if the focal fabrics we want to use for our quilts will work or not!!! hee hee nice little tip there!

Cheers

Good going Aggi, I am glad to hear about the focal fabric. I had not made up my mind so now for sure I know I can wait. I have a couple of fabrics I don't think I will use for anything else. Not my fav. fabrics, but I want the project to look good. Just figure for my first mystery I am not going to use my favorite fabrics. I am ranting. Bye

Thanks Shelly, I have two more to go though. Will be pulled May 7th, Xrays show that the roots are cracking causeing infection. These are root canal teeth. Can you imagine. All the money I put into my teeth now they have to go. Pooey! Oh well off to iron! Aggi says Bonnie said tonight the next step will be. Don't want to be too much behind.

Thanks Mary for the news! Well step two looks interesting. I just happen to have the Angler 2 ruler. I have never used it so at least it will get some use. But she does say you don't have to have one which is good. I just happen to have one because I found it clearenced for a couple of dollars. Whenever I see something like that I pice it up. I got lucky. Okay back to the iron board obviously the least favorite of sewing besides backward sewing (seam ripper). Ta ta all.

I've also got the ruler and have starting cuttin, since I don't have any 3 1/2" strips. i keep forgetting I have the ruler, and it does make things so much easier, I think I had a 50% off coupon when I got mine.
