I just went down to Joanns 5 min away, and all rulers 50% off so I have one for 3 dollars. I think I am finding that scrap quilts take a lot of cutting unless you have bins of this stuff. I never have a lot of scraps as all my grandkids like to fool around and create when they come and anything in the bin is fair game. I just cleaned by sewing room and took everthing smaller than a quarter yard and dumped it in, so I guess I better get it before they do.

I won't even get started til this weekend. Do many of you have small children? I only have one, but he is 6 and he is somehow always wanting something when I get 5 minutes to sew.

You say that like you get to go to the bathroom alone! LOL

When mine were small I was running a home daycare so I didn't have to go back to work in an office. Try going to the bathroom with 6 or 10 kids loose in the house!

My daughters are grown, but i do have 6 granddaughters would are very helpful (LOL) when they are up.

And it does not change, when it comes to going to the bathroom by yourself, when you have grandkids.

It's like party time - grandma's in the bathroom, they all have to come in and sit on the side of the tub and talk to you.
