bebe, the regular rotary cutting directions work perfectly too. I tried both methods. Have fun!

Chele-those look great. Love the colors :!: Beautiful! I have not started step 2 yet. Trying to finish up the I Spy baby quilt and a charity quilt.

It snowed again! and will all weekend. Un-seasonably cold!! The people in Vernonia are living in houses without any heat. :( (Town flooded in December) Some of them are in camp trailers. FEMA wont let them rebuild yet.
Our guild -which is so new we are not really official yet-it will be official soon and then the dues start....

As of last night the guild has made 70-75 quilts for the town of Vernonia. They still need more!

Hope to get to OC Step 2 this week.

Okay, here are my first two completed step 2 blocks. I am a long ways off still. I am still sewing the little triangles to the 2 inch squares. I ran into a snag. A little while back I bought 500 2 inch squares off someone. So I started to use them and when I went to make the block they did not fit. I was getting upset thinking I had cut something wrong. Oh could you imagine. Cutting all those and a set be wrong. Well I guess I could say I lucked out. It was the 2 inch squares. Some are not square. More like 2" X 1 and almost 7/8". (short of the 7/8") So of course it did not work. So I have to take all those apart. Luckly I do have a lot more 2 inch squares. But I am upset with this person for selling me these squares. Nothing I can do now. Oh well guess they will go with my other small scraps for the crumb quilt. :D At least I am building up those for a good start. :D Till, later, gotta backward sew for a while.
