Thanks Mary, Yours look really nice too.

I ripped out more on step 3 than any other step, for some reason I kept sewing the little triangles together wrong. I'm ready for a break, I've got a baby quilt to get done this month.

Thanks. It did seem to take a little longer to do fewer pices on part 3. Had to re-read and refer back to the picture quite a bit to get them done.

I guess I better get started in case I have errors while sewing them. Pam, your blocks look great. I love the stripes. Should be interesting when we see the end result. :!: :D

Thank goodness for that, I need a bit more time too. Just finished step 2, Started cutting for step 3 today and made an absolute mess of it, I kept getting the math wrong for the little triangles and had to keep re-cutting them, Grrrr. Oh well plenty of new scraps for the scrap bin  I must of had some sort of brain fug, I kept adding the wrong amount of seam allowance to the wrong measurement
Luv your colours Mary, do I see a similar peice of green leopard skin print in yours? Those stripes are way kewl Pam. Can't wait to see how all these parts are gonna be put together :P .

I'm pretty sure they are different greens, but the one is a green leopard print. Since there wasn't as many of these as the others, I don't think any of them are repeats, but there is some in step 2.

Ok, just noticed the green leopard print in yours Shelly, lol

Love your blocks Shelly, I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one having troubles with step 3.

Lol that's what I ment, just having a chuckle, I live half way round the world from you and we gots the same fabric :P . Sometimes it's hard to get the meaning of what your saying across when you've only got written words to do it with. I never mean to offend anybody, sometimes my sense of humour gets me in the dog box, but that's a whole nother story

Step 3 caused me to get brain damage from re-reading directions like about 20 times to figure out what I was doing wrong...Thank goodness Mary 705 had blasted right on through and had posted a photo, which I printed out and kept by my side..In my opnion, it was the most difficult of the 3 steps...But I do love how they turned out...Thanks, Mary for the extra advice...
