    FreeSpirit Website

Free Spirit has re-opened their website with tons of great product information and a long list of free project downloads. A great site to browse!

I already had the Atlantis Rising pattern on my 'wanna try' list. Think I will also add Witch Sox pattern to the list. Thanks for sharing.

I like anything Tula Or Kaffe, for that matter.. I have months of projects lined up already but I may add Sparkling Diamonds to my list. As for the FreeSpirit website, I am enjoying reading about each of the designers as much as admiring their fabrics and patterns.

Thank you! Thank you! I'm working on a quilt in EQ8 and this allows me to bring in the Kaffe Fabric.

based on what Jaftex (who just bought this line) is saying on Scott's blog, I'm thinking they are making a big push to "beef up" the FreeSpirit design house and really focus on these awesome designers. Sure hope so!

I follow Scott as well and think you're right. I'm inclined to think that he and his designers may very well re-define the future of textiles. They appeal to a very broad range of folks and market themselves very well.

Last fall I attended a color theory lecture (more entertaining then educational) by Kaffe Fasset and Brandon Mabley - Scott Fortunoff was also there. They all know how to put on a show and create energy in a room! Scott was very liberal with promotional giveaways and that always excites the crowd.

I'm sure there's more to come from this bunch! Can't wait
