Default Frixion pens straight from the pen’s manufacturer

Nice to see two products to make sure your marks are gone... oops read the comments, maybe they won't all be gone. I think i will limit my markings to seam allowances

Gee. I just bought 6 from Connecting Threads. I will try and use them for something else.

I knew these were made for paper crafters and chose not to invest in them, but I'm wondering if the same ghosting appears on paper crafts too. That could be a problem too I would think

I love them for their nice points. I only use them (now) to mark diagonal lines or cutting lines because I have had the ghosting problem, especially with flannel. My guild used them to mark the quilting lines for a beautiful had-quilted raffle quilt, I hope the marks don't come back for the person that won the quilt!

Great article. I have some, but have not really tried them on fabric. Now I am thinking I may just use them as regular pens.

Just recently I was using a Frixion pen on some freezer paper to make some patterns for applique. Without thinking I ironed the freezer paper on my fabric. DUH.... my pattern disappeared. No problem after all because when I looked closely I could see the ghost lines of my pattern on the freezer paper. I just used a pencil and drew them in.

So the answer to your question is yes, Frixion pens do leave ghost lines on paper - freezer paper anyway.

After washing my quilt the lines disappeared. I use them when I'm writing a quilt label or need to write on fabric. I practice on a the size label I want and when I get it right, I then can make the real one with permanent ink.
