I know a lot of ladies have bought these. I think I'll hold off for awhile.

Good information. I love those pens and use them almost exclusively for marking. I am sorry to hear of the ways it shows up. Now I live in "sunny" California, so freezing temperatures are not a concern for me. But it could be problemmatic for those that I send to relatives in Idaho.

Great info. I just bought two pens and thought they were the answer to my prayers. But now I think I will be a little careful about where I use it. I am really not concerned about freezong weather.

Thank you for taking the time to do the test.

Thanks for sharing that, I had been thinking about trying those pens, but think maybe I will skip them.

I bought one of the pens at a Shop Hop and just used it to mark embrodery letters for the lable on the back of a quilt going to Florida. No need to worry about temp issues there! But it says if you put the quilt in the clothes dryer they will disapear again. My house is NEVER under 50 so it's not a problem here either and I love the fine line they make.

Thanks for the information -- I have not tried them but I will certainly be cautious when I use them. The starch thing is what would worry me since I tend to starch a lot.

Thank you for sharing!!! I just bought one at a quilt store yesterday. After reading the blog, I think I'll give it to my grandchildren to play with.

It is interesting, but how many of our quilts will be subjected to 8 degree temperatures?
