I "get it", I just don't get it!!! I enjoy the cutting and piecing...this is just not for me. Seems there is some waste...as with any project. But I agree...she needs a longer ruler!!

Interesting, sort of like those printed pillow panels that can be whipped into a quick quilt. Not too sure I would be rushing out to buy any of this, at least for making a quilt. One of the biggest enjoyments I have with quilting is actually in the cutting of the fabric into the small pieces. It's relaxing.

    Looks like stripe print fabric.

Interesting concept. I prefer doing all the work in creating the strip pieces. What are the chances of liking all the fabrics in the print? I enjoy the process of start to finish which includes going through my stash or heading to my LQS and choosing each fabric that goes into the finished product. I can see using this for borders though.

Seems like the same concepts we've used with border fabrics for years. It seems like they are just printing and marketing new "border" fabrics. Am I being a humbug?

That basically takes away why we quilt doesn't it? Maybe if someone was in a hurry for a gift, but that is all.

I totally agree! I have used border prints in several quilts and they are printed so wonky sometimes I have to cut with scissors rather than a rotary cutter. Either way, it would have to be cut in a single layer to get it perfect. The last one I did, I wet and blocked the fabric, which helped, but it still drove me crazy!

I agree!! I couldn't pay attention to the fabric for wondering why she didn't get a longer ruler to do the demonstration.
