I'm ready for the next clue. Love the way this mystery is so doable.

The October clue is posted! Has hourglass and half-hourglass blocks.

Thanks, I did! We got one night of a breathtaking show of northern lights. Iceland is gorgeous---waterfalls and ice beaches. Got some great photos but waiting on a new computer to come in next week before I can downsize some photos to upload a few here to share. My laptop is full, and can't upload any photos to it right now.

Glad you had such a wonderful trip, Jeanne!

My machine is in for repair, so I won't be able to complete my blocks until later in the month. I am looking forward to trying hourglass blocks. It is my first time so I would appreciate any tips/tricks.

I was wrong. I have done half hour glass units. I did not know that was the name for the block. However, I used a slightly different method the first time.

One of my Virtual weekend Projects was clue 3, it was nice to have squares all cut made and ready to sew.... made 8 HST and then 4 half hour glass blocks ... glad to have a start on clue 3 ~~ it is going to take a few sessions to complete
