I must confess that I became spoiled once we had to incorporate fabric A. I didn't know how I should handle the two fabrics that I had chosen and didn't want to make a mistake. I put the top together last month based on the picture, since I knew this month was going to be busy for me.
I am not sure how I feel about the design yet. It is definitely not something I would have chosen to do with these fabrics. But the longer I look at it, the more it is growing on me. I think the binding will make a difference with my chosen color palette.

Cannot wait to see all of your designs! I think we are going to have some outstanding quilts.

Here is my mystery quilt top put together. I like it, not my typical style but that is okay need to work outside my box. I do not enough of any one fabric I used in the top for the binding so will be scrappy using the colors from the top

Those look so good, silliness and frustrated!!
I must confess, I've been so tied up with the BH MQ that I am behind, but I intent to catch up by the parade. It's not a quilt design I would personally choose, but I like the it and think it'll make a nice lap quilt. And it was a ton of fun too

There was a slight variation version posted on FB that I think I will try. It adds a pieced border that finishes out the 4 corners of the design to make a complete diamond shape of the dark fabric outline. For some reason having those corners incomplete bugs me. This design looks like a tablecloth to me!
I will post a photo when I get the extra piecing done------assuming I have enough extra fabric to do it!

Finished top
I just put the blocks together. I love it. As others have said not something I would have chosen, but it is beautiful. If anyone has a picture or instructions about the pieced border, I would love to see what that looks like. I no longer have a FB account.
