Thank you for sharing this advance information. I pre-ordered my copy today! She gave a workshop along with her mother in the early 1980's when I lived in Green Bay, WI and was making most of our clothing. I have always admired her.

Wow, what great news! She is an inspirational woman.
Bella Boo, my next comment is off-topic for this particular discussion, but... I saw you post the other day about your Roku. I just bought one, and even though I'm in RI, I have my PBS station localized to Wisconsin Public TV, so that I can watch all of Nancy's shows! I love having so many choices on demand. It's great when there's nothing on TV to just tune in my pal Nancy and dream about sewing.

She is my sewing inspiration for sure ... I have many of her books and soon to get more DVD's . Absolutely have loved her shows and learned many new tips from her on sewing/quilting. I have watched her religiously for sure since I discovered her. Lovely person, mentor and I bet she would be a great friend to have !! :=)

Roku is the best money we ever spent for entertainment. So much better then cable. I watch all the British dramas and tv shows. You have to watch Monarch of the Glen! MI5, Foley's War, Doc Martin, Creatures Great and Small, and all the Masterpiece Theater presentations. And now my favorite new shows, Copper and Sherlock Holmes.

I just typed my reply and then lost it...so once more with feeling, here it is. I had gone to my library's website to reserve Nancy's new book. The book is not yet in the system and not on order. However, I found I could request it anyway, and the library would either borrow it from another library system or order it. And so I did. You can imagine my surprise when the library e-mailed later in the day that the book has been ordered. Once it comes in, I will be notified so I can come and borrow it. Something to try with your library....
