Osrow Steamstress Iron
#1
I found this vintage steamer iron at a thrift store. It's the best! No drips or leaks and generous but not too much steam. And it continuous steam! It steamed and blocked my quilt blocks perfectly. They have never laid so flat. It has an off on switch that immediately shut off the steam and when turned back on, immediate steam! Why can't quality items like this be made now?
If you see one get it! I looked on Ebay and there are a few available. Here is a picture of the one I found for $2.
It uses 1/8 teaspoon salt and you never replace the salt unless you dump the water out of the tank.
