I've thought that some floor designs would make awesome quilts! The last one I saw was a compass rose and I really wanted to take a picture of it but was on the Navy base near Chicago and you can get in serious trouble taking a picture! I will have to have my hubby draw it if I want to make it!

Funny you should post this. We are remodeling our bathroom and have a hugh shower. and I am going to design the tile work in a bargello pattern..... Funny how us quilters will use quilt design in all aspects of our daily lives
