    I have made lots & lots of pillowcases this way. It works easier if you have a wide space so you can lay everything flat before pinning. I made my mom a set of pillowcases for Mother's Day a few yrs ago. Instead of adding the flange (she called it piping), substitute lace instead. I have also machine embroidered motifs in the cuff before sewing the pillowcase together. Just make sure that you fold the cuff in half lengthwise to find your center. Then you fold it in half again as you want to center your motif on only half of the strip so your motif doesn't end up on the side. (Ask me how I know this! LOL)

    What a neat and fun way to make a pillowcase. I have some fabric just screaming for me to try my hand at this easy tut.
