here are the results.. I also played a little "what if the blocks are done like this" and really like it!!! if this "what if" game I played is not the end result, I will just have to make the excuse to make another project doing that block!!!

Can't wait to see what everyone else is doing!

You solve my mystery for the colored block, Aggi!! Now, doesn't someone else want to give it a try?? You'll see how the "white" blocks and the "colored" blocks go together to make the complete runner SOON!! I told you Christmas colors would be BEAUTIFUL!! Good job!!

Susan

P.S. Have you got your Halloween Doll yet?? I hope she is SAFE!!

woooooooooo hoooooo I cant' wait to put the runner together now!!! Yes I love how the colours all come together!!!! I might have to make another one for my friend for Christmas!!

I haven't received any dolls yet. hopefully before the end of the week. Mine are going out tomorrow morning. I had hoped to get out this evening to post my dolls, but I got so caught up in this runner step I wanted to finish it!!

I promise to let you know as soon as your doll arrives!! I can't wait to see her!

Chele 10-01-2008 04:46 PM

Aggi, how do you get everything all lined up? It's supposed to be scrappy! Yours are so exact! They look great, by the way! Way to catch up!

umm I don't know  Of my six 1/8 yard pieces I chose 2 red, 2 green and 2 taupe. I didn't want my two reds to be together or my two greens, etc. Thats how I thought about it. To me it's scrappy :)  I guess I like controlled scrappy LOL Thanks for the comment though!! I really love how they turned out and now I want to make more!

I should go and get the rest of the instructions too. But she has sooooo many things I like and want to do. She is really good! Have you been getting my jokes? Hope so. :D

Wow, now that I re-read the original message it did sound kinda mean. I should have put this  in it, that would have explained better. Sorry if I sounded rude, did not mean to.

Anyway, I want to know how you Aggi, picked out the perfect colors :?: How did you know :?: I picked out all different flowers. Well I did not actually pick, I grabbed scraps with eyes shut and kept four that I grabbed and picked the fifth out. Decided I was going to use no matter what. Now I don't know. Oh well I will make another one anyway. I like the way it is turning out. So pretty! I will post before Tues. I finished my DH project, had company come into town, but she is visiting others now and will be back next week so I can get some sewing in. Todaloo all :D

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :-P

I was determined to have pics up yesterday and of course when I have a plan something deters it. One of my background fabrics had little specks in it. Some I could pick off so I decided to wash again. Well those little *&@#*&*@&@ specks did not come come off. So I had to find more fabric and could not find any that would blend in with what I already had. So quess what I found. Some halves left over for the HSTs from the Orange Crush. So I am making those work for the HSTs. Ahhhh, almost there! So after today I will not be behind. Hee Hee.

Awww Chele!! It turned out so BEAUTIFUL!! I REALLY like the Christmas colors with this pattern! Nice job!! If there were any misaligned points, I don't see them. When it's quilted, they seem to disappear anyway!

TFS!

Hope everyone found Clue #4!! It has been up since 6:00 am MST LOL!!

DonnaRae 10-07-2008 08:37 AM

Just a quick not. Hey Everyone, the name of the project is

"MYSTERY" Most do the mystery because they want to be suprised. When you post the end result before even the last clues you really do ruin it for others. I know it is not intentional and you don't mean to be mean just goof up. So if anyone is going to put the completed project up ahead of time please wait and if you have done so please remove. Thanks Bunches. :D

Chele 10-07-2008 08:41 AM

Sorry, Donna Rae. I thought everyone wanted pictures. My bad.

I am sorry if it sound mean. We do want photos, but as we go along. And I did not even know Aggie put up more. Did you/ The one up there is what it is going to be today anyway. Is that the one you are talking about? I try not to read any messages now so I don't see.

Hey I know what, lets start a new link for the photos as we get them and then whoever wants to look can. See I should have done that instead of saying anything, My Opologies. Okay look at the links here and post away. :!: :D

IF YOU WANT TO POST YOUR PICTURES HERE IS A GREAT PLACE

http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/l...90.page#194082

AND IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE IN ADVANCE GO THERE.

Pictures that are done with the steps can be posted here for all to see.

Is this okay with everyone? Hope so!

Pooh...I missed it!:))I've had my head in a tshirt quilt and getting ready to start another....sorry I missed what you all are up to..will be looking forward to pics of these runners...looks good from what I see!! Skeat

Quilting Aggi 10-08-2008 10:42 AM

I got this step done and completed!! I didn't post any photos yet. I will soon!! It was fun how it was put together!!! Can't wait for the next step!!!

Quilting Aggi 10-09-2008 03:41 AM

Hey everyone.. I'm just curious to know how everyone else is doing with this runner. It seems so quiet on this thread lately.

all4quilt 10-09-2008 04:20 AM

Maybe everyone is "quietly" working on it? I am a little confused with the picture thing. I thought you were supposed to post pictures as each clue is solved? That is what happened with the Mystery tote. Are we not supposed to post pictures until the whole mystery is solved? Inquiring minds want to know? Thanks for everyone's help in this manner.

Confused....
Susan

DonnaRae 10-09-2008 08:51 AM

Hi, yes absolutely we are suppose to post pictures as each clue is soved. The only problem is pictures were posted of the whole thing solved or some steps solved ahead of time. And that sort takes the fun out of it for others that have not solved it yet. We should all post pic's as we go along which I am guilty of not doing. But I will today. No matter where I am at.

Had some problems with fabric but getting there now. Hope Chele is not mad at me. I have not heard from her.

Cheleeeeeeeeeeeeeee, please don't be mad at me.

Here is my fabric all done through step 2. I cheated on the hst's because I saw Aggi's block (hee hee) so decided I wanted the hst's the same. The reason I was behind I was working on a water bag for my DH. I am posting pic's of it in pictures if you want to see it. I will be shortly posting pics of step three here. :D

Skeat 10-10-2008 09:56 AM

okay..okay...I've been holding my breath over here waiting..waiting for these pics!!:))Post'm kids!:0)I missed out of the start of this...well, heck, the ending too...but, I don't want to miss out on anymore..so post your pics...and, if it is a mystery and someone or anyone doesn't want to look...then keep clicking thru faster as not to peek or don't stop sewing till done-then peek/read:))But, people like me just have to have that eye candy input and inspiration. I think anyone puts the time up to do these fun mysteries for all of us we need to appreciate and applaude and don't let anything rain on your fabric parade/pictures. Come on....I am turning purple...and, I need to turn green!!(envy!!):))Post'm ya mystery quilters!! Skeat

Threads324 10-10-2008 08:15 PM

Susan, I love how your mystery tablerunner pattern is progressing. I'm soooo far behind though :( I have all my steps printed off and hope to work on it on Sunday. You did a great job on this. I was thinking that this would be a cool one to do with those charm packs. I'm happy to be able to get back here to check in on how everyone is doing...it sucks not being able to use your computer lol.

You are absolutely right, Tina! The charm packs would be GREAT!! Hope you get some time for sewing and quilting!

Susan

P.S. Your Christmas Stockings are ready when you are. :) They turned out CUTE!

DonnaRae 10-11-2008 07:57 AM

Well I am just rolling on with the runner. In case anyone is interested Tina posted a Christmas mystery. Might want to check it out. Back to sewing I go. I am not cleaning house this weekend. A clean house means no-one quilts at it!! :D
