I am soooooo totaly doing this runner. And I have sewwwwwwww many scraps so I will close my eyes like you did and go for it. Hey what can it hurt. If it is that bad I will let either my cat or dog have it. LOL. Who else is going to do it!

DonnaRae 09-18-2008 01:34 PM

Nope, just added this page of recent. Hope you have fun doing the runner. I really like how mine turned out. It is definitely scrappy and you are right, you can let your dog or cat have it if it doesn't turn out right. I hear dogs are color blind.... don't know about cats, though... :D :D

Great Pam, and Renee, dogs have great noses do you think maybe that is why he nose (I know Knows, no pun intended  ) No I think you are right, my dog is super large 150 pounds and pick peas out of his can food if they are in it. It is the funniest thing. But the "THEYS" say they are color blind. HA :D

LOL!! I stand corrected about color blind dogs! If it doesn't turn out, you can give it to one of my sons, both of them are color blind!! My youngest son bought what he thought were BROWN shoes when he was a teenager. As it turned out, they were BRIGHT GREEN!!

I have a lot of scraps too. I can use this as an excuse to try something new and if it turns out, I have a couple of people on my Christmas list that would enjoy receiving it. I will put it in my "mystery tote" when I get that finished. Hope to work on both this weekend. Thanks for posting this mystery Susan. and thanks to you too Tina for the mystery tote.

Wow, Chele you are on a roll. I have to get started. Was finishing up my DH project yesterday and had unexpected family visit. Could not be rude (even though I kinda wanted to) so did not get anything done yesterday. So today I am for sure going to push and shove. Guess I better get off this PC to do that. LOL

you got me even more curious now!!! pulling my Christmas fabrics TONIGHT!

Quilting Aggi 09-26-2008 02:52 AM

I chose my colours last night, but I never got the chance to take a photo as we had our stitching group last night down to Mum's and we got caught up with lots of chatting. I will be down to her place this weekend again to do some sewing on the runner and will take photos then!!!

all4quilt 09-26-2008 05:21 AM

Am anxious to see photos!

Here are the fabrics I chose for this mystery quilt. I found another green to add to this stash, but never had the chance to add it to the photo. I hope to start cutting it out tomorrow night.

I worked on finishing the "Orange Crush" mystery from early summer and completed the quilt top tonight. So I plan to just do a bit of hand stitching tonight. Tomorrow night I will try to start cutting out this runner.

I can't wait to get started on this runner!!

all4quilt 09-29-2008 05:42 AM

Beautiful Fabric!! I am imagining the end results! Is the white your background fabric?

Tomorrow, clue #3 will be up!

It feels like you just put 2 up. Okay I will try my best to get part 2 done today with pictures. I had problems with the lights whitch you would think is the easy fabric. The light creams and yellows. I promised myself I would no way buy fabric for this. And I didn't. I have so much fabric why is it you never have what you need? Well actually I have plenty but hate to use something I was planning for something else. But I pulled it off. (-:

Yes the white tone on tones will be my background. The mittens is my outside border, the blue is my inside border.. everything else will be the little pieces :)

I never got to cut it out yesterday, so hopefully Wednesday I will get to that step!! I am behind, but I will play catch up fast!

all4quilt 09-30-2008 06:09 AM

Your runner will be beautiful, Aggi!!
