Why does the cutter remove the top piece when stacking, what do they do with end scraps, where was this filmed, how do we get a tour, etc. ?

They're located right here in southern California! I could drive there if there was a reason to -- like buying up those scraps if available to the public. Gotta find out!

Cool... Thanks for the link. Would love the scraps -- bet they are real careful to make sure they have at least 40" of printed fabric instead of 2" selvages (I was just trying to cut 10" blocks and but only had 38" of print ....

Funny, this post came on the same day that I saw the video on The Quilt Show too. Isn't it amazing how automated things are.
