Thanks! I learned from my mom to be differant from everyone else!! LOL I needed to seperate the sections in a way you don't see on most sites. So this is how I chose to do it. I also needed to reflect me more in this site than my other online store. I learned alot between my first two sites and this one got all the lessons learned!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

But I am still learning and improving I hope!

Try a Shoo-fly block first and practice getting your HST blocks to match up before you do a bigger quilt block. HSTs really aren't scary. It is the accuracy that is the thing. Make sure your HST square is square and that the seam is evenly in the corner.(fabric on each side of the seam comes out the same on both sides) You don't want one side wider than the other.
Prevent problems to set yourself up for success.

thanks so much for the message about half square triangles, I am trying to tame my scraps, these ideas are wonderful. piecefully, the old one
